The Parrot AR Drone is something that just flew onto my radar as a fan of anything remote controlled and of course the iPhone/iPod Touch. The Parrot is much more than just a toy helicopter, which can be controlled via its self-generated WiFi network from an iPhone or iPod touch, it has a camera mounted to the front as well. This means not only is it a great device for spying on the neighbours (I foresee many lawsuits and husbands getting slapped by their wives) but it is also offers an exciting platform for augmented reality games, meaning you can not only spy on the sunbathing beauty next door but shoot the wife as well when she comes looking for you with a rolling pin, or the police with the handcuffs.
